Today was Valentine's Day. The day of love. The day was going good. I had a very kind cashier help me at the store because my hands were as full as possible. I had a lovely special dinner. We ended with pastries from my favorite bakery for dessert.
Well it didn't end with love in the air. A neighbor's dog, which was not on a leash, attacked my poor pup! I mean come on!! This event brought on so much stress and anxiety. I was left feeling sad and very angry. Then I turned to the one thing that is stress free… crochet.
I worked a few rows on my current project. As I was working the weight of those heavy emotions subsided. Now I feel better and like I can continue to be a comforting companion to my doggie.
