How to Use Yarn Leftovers

Hey My Crocheters,

As I was looking through my yarn stash yesterday I noticed that I have some yarn leftovers from projects that I finished. That inspired me to write this post today. I am going to give project ideas that I have for using yarn leftovers.

  1. Small Bags or Change Purses.

This is a perfect was to use yarn leftovers, especially if you only have a little left. These small bags are wonderful for little things.

2. Baskets

If you have bulky leftovers, then baskets are a good way to use it up. Even if you have a finer yarn weight you could make small baskets for holding jewelry or a pencil holder.

3. Hats

Since hats typically require smaller quantities of yarn it is the perfect project for leftovers.

4. Pom Poms and Tassels

These would be a great way to use any yarn weight leftovers.

These are just a few ideas. The sky is the limit and there is nothing that cannot be made with yarn leftovers. Get creative and stay flexible. I love this idea in crochet. I appreciate the technique and how different yarn works up differently. However, using leftovers for a smaller project is a great way to get creative and have some fun.

Happy Hooking!
