Roses are Red Violets are Blue… - Color Palette

Welcome to another Color me Friday!

This month I will be focusing on love and Valentine’s Day related color palettes. This week I’m looking at roses and violets and thinking about that poem of “roses are red and violets are blue…” When I looked up the symbolism of roses and violets I found that roses represent romantic love. While violets represent modesty, faithfulness, and humble love. When combined they can only speak to the true romantic love.

Ways to use this color palette:

This color palette would be great for any crochet project to embody all that these flowers symbolize! Bringing the rich romance of red and the true power of purple. This would make a striking top, sweater, or scarf.

The palette would also make a wonderful palette for a themed monthly calendar, a cute card to give to a loved one, or even party invites. The sky is the limit!
