Summer Crochet Garment Project Ideas

Hey my Crocheters! I’m listing out some summer crochet garment project ideas. In case you need some help thinking of what to make for the summer. Crochet is associated with cold weather and projects that are perfect for fall and winter. So let’s put some warmer weather project ideas out there.

  1. Crochet Top/shirt. This would be a great type of crochet garment. You can use a yarn that is summer appropriate. My previous post “Summer Yarns Suggestions.” A cotton yarn would be perfect for a shirt. If you’re feeling like a really luxurious feeling top, then use a silk yarn. Any of the summer appropriate fibers would work.

  2. Crochet Skirt. A skirt is perfect for summer. You can choose a long, mid, or short style depending on your preference.

  3. A Light Sweater or Cardi. This would be great for when the sun sets and the night becomes a little chilly. A silk yarn would work really well or linen. Both are known to be good insulators.

These projects are just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many more projects that would be great for summer. I plan to post some more next week.

In the meantime, happy hooking!
