The Smallest Wren in North America: the Winter Wren - Color Palette

Hey there!

Welcome to another Color me Friday!

This month I will be focusing on Northern birds. This week’s color palette inspiration is the Winter Wren. This is the smallest North American Wren. It’s about the size of a quarter! Even though it is tiny its song is loud and complex. They live in dense coniferous forests where they will make their nests.

Ways to use this color palette:

This color palette would be great for any crochet project to have those warm browns and just like the Wjnter Wren the colors are simple yet loud. These colors would make a great cardigan, sweater, or blanket. The warmth would be felt from both the project and the colors. This palette would also look great digitally. I can see it being used for a subtle palette for a power point presentation.
