Fall Crochet Project Ideas

Writer: Andrea PetersonAndrea Peterson

Hey My Crocheters!

Since Fall is coming soon I wanted to talk about some crochet project ideas that are great for the Fall. Let's get into some projects ideas.

  1. Sweater/Cardi: These are great for Fall since the days are starting to cool off and the night is even chillier. A light sweater would be really nice for those days that are still a bit warm with a chill in the air. You can control the feel of any sweater with your choice of yarn. If you find and choose a sweater or cardi pattern calling for a lighter weight yarn and fiber those are perfect for the Fall.

  2. Hats: While hats are good for any season the Fall is one of the best for wearing them. With the weather changing and becoming colder it can be windy. What better way to keep warm than a hat.

  3. Shawls: This is a good solution for a changing season. I live in Colorado and the Fall days can go from warm to cold in the matter of an hour or two. A Shawl is good to have on hand for a little extra layering when the day turns cold.

Fall is my favorite season. It is the best here in Colorado because the days are the perfect temperature, for the most part. Then there usually isn't too much rain or snow. I am also a Fall baby and that is probably a huge bias on my end. At any rate Fall is a wonderful season for some cozy and fun crochet projects.

Happy Hooking!
