Hey My Crocheters!
Today I am going to provide the written instructions for creating a Front Post Double Crochet stitch (FPdc) in US crochet terms. This stitch is just a Double Crochet that is worked around the post of a Double Crochet stitch. It brings the post that is worked around forward leaving the top "V" unworked. It is a great stitch for creating a ribbing effect to your crochet work. I have a video tutorial on my Youtube Channel here.
FPdc: Front Post Double Crochet:
1. Yarn Over
2. Insert hook behind the post of the Double Crochet to the right and below the working row

3. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops
4. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops to finish
It really is that simple of a stitch that creates a lovely texture.

Happy Hooking and I hope this was helpful!
