How to Crochet the Arch Mesh Stitch

Things to know about Arch Mesh

• It has a multiple of 4 plus 1 + 5 for the chain.

• It uses only single and double crochet stitches.

• It uses chains to create the mesh.

• After the initial set up it is a two row repeat.

Abbreviations:

Ch: Chain

Ch-Sp: Chain Space

Dc: Double Crochet

Rep: Repeat

Sc: Single Crochet

Sk: Skip

St: Stitch

Ch multiple of 4 plus 1 + 5 for the Ch.

Row 1: Sc in 10th Ch from the hook, Ch 5, Sk 3, Sc; Rep from to end, turn.

Row 2: Ch 6, Sc in Ch-Sp, Ch 5; Rep to last Ch-Sp, Sc in last Ch-Sp, Ch 2, Dc in 4th Ch of Ch-9, turn.

Row 3: Ch 6, Sc in Ch-5 Sp, Ch 5, Sc in next Ch-5 Sp; Rep from to last Ch-Sp, turn.

Row 4: Ch 6, Sc in Ch-Sp, Ch 5; Rep to last Ch-Sp, Sc in last Ch-Sp, Ch 2, Dc in 4th Ch of Ch-6, turn.

Rep Rows 3-4 until desired size.
