Hey there!
Today is Tutorial Thursday here in the Yarn Packin’ Mama Universe. The stitch for today is the Lemon Peel Stitch. This stitch is very easy to work up and is only a one row repeat. It creates an interesting texture since it only alternates single and double crochet stitches. This is a beginner friendly stitch that only uses two basic stitches.
I plan to design a hat using this stitch pattern. I think it will work up nicely and create a fun look in Pearly Haze from Hobbii.
I will have a video tutorial on my YouTube channel which makes it easier to see what to do in detail. Let’s dive in!

Things to know about this stitch:
It is worked in a multiple of 2 plus 1 for the chain
Abbreviations:
Ch: Chain
Dc: Double Crochet
Rep: Repeat
Sc: Single Crochet
St: Stitch
Instructions:
Ch in multiple of 2 plus 1
Row 1: Sc into the 2nd Ch from the hook, (Sc, Dc) Rep until the end, turn
Row 2:(Sc, Dc) Rep until the end, turn

I hope this inspires you to create something fun! Happy Hooking!
