I’m Looking At You Polyphemus Moth Palette

Welcome to another Color me Friday!

This month I will be focusing on butterflies and moths for the Color Me Fridays. This week is the Polyphemus Moth. These moths have very vibrant oranges to their wings. They also look like they have a pair of eyes peering out at you. This helps protect the moths from birds and other predators. Since it appears they are keeping a watchful eye. I’m really impressed by the size of these moths. They are quite large.

I think this color palette would be great for any crochet project using color changes or color blocking. It really plays with warm colors that are perfect for Fall. It would be a great way to brighten up the grey, chilly days!
