Iconic Tulips - Color Palette

Hey there!

Welcome to another Color me Friday!

This month the color inspiration is coming from flowers. There are so many different varieties! Today’s inspiration is from the iconic tulip. This is known as the flower of The Netherlands. These flowers were wildly popular and caused the “tulip mania” in the 1600s. These flowers come in over 150 species and in several colors. Which is perfect for creating a color palette centered around this flower. This flower is also really neat because of how it is phototropic. Meaning they follow the sun and open and close based on temperature.

Ways to use this color palette:

This color palette would be great for any crochet project to showcase all that these flowers have to offer. I highlighted all the warm, happy colors these flowers have to offer. These colors would look really wonderful worked up in a cardigan, poncho, or a bag.

The palette would also make a wonderful palette for crochet color chart, a themed monthly calendar, a cute card, or even party invites. The sky is the limit!

You can find the RGB codes below.
