Outdoor Crochet Tips

Hi there!
With the weather stabilizing and warming up why not enjoy the outdoors. You may be thinking that means you can’t lounge and crochet on a sunny day. Well, you absolutely can!
I’m going to go over some tips for taking your project outside. You can also visit my YouTube for the video of my outdoor crochet set up. Let’s get started.
My number one tip to be outdoor crochet ready is a sturdy project bag or yarn container. I really like the Big Sully Portable yarn holder from Pyrm. It isn’t perfect but I like the size and the protection it give my precious yarn. Otherwise, a nice coated bag that is water resistant works really well too.
Tip number 2 is to have a place to set your hooks, stitch markers, and any other notion you need. I like to use a simple plastic container to hold everything. You can also use a hook case to hold everything. When I’m filming I have a stocked hook case that holds my hooks, scissors, darning needles, and stitch markers. It comes in handy and then I’m not searching everywhere for one thing.
Tip number 3 is a comfortable place to work. I like to use seat cushions for my patio chairs to give that soft touch. It also allows me to sit for a longer period of time before I have to stretch.

I hope this was helpful and inspired you to enjoy the weather without sacrificing work on your project. Happy hooking!
