Hello there!
Summer is fast approaching. I mean maybe not here in Colorado. We have had quite a few rainy chilly days lately this month. However, before I know it it will be in the mid to high 90s! So how do you keep the cozy vibes up and going without overheating? Here are some of my suggestions:
Crochet smaller projects. You can work on headbands, bags, or small scarves. These are great for summer because they add coziness without keeping too much warmth. Especially if you pair the project with a cotton or silk based yarn.
Crochet Lacy patterns. You can still work on bigger pieces like sweaters, shawls, and ponchos. Look for patterns that have a lacy open feel to them. That way you can work it up and wear it in the heat without dying from it.
Crochet home decor projects. You can work on home items like pillows, small throws, wash clothes, or table runners. These projects allow you to keep up hygge without having a huge blanket weighing you down in hot weather.
I hope you found these tips helpful. Happy Hooking!
