Hey there!
Today’s stitch tutorial is about the Basketweave stitch. The Basketweave stitch is super beginner friendly because it only uses one basic stitch. It uses the double crochet stitch. The way that the Basketweave stitch gets its texture is through alternating between front post and back post double crochet. The front and back posts can be a little challenging because of the hook placement. However, they become easier as you work along. This stitch can seem intimidating because it is a six row repeat. Which seems like a ton, however, the rows are only alternating between front post and back post double crochet. So, really it only needs six rows in order to create the Basketweave look. Otherwise, the row repeat is really only three.

Let’s dive in! You can also find the video tutorial on my YouTube Channel.
