Simple Fall Color Pairings for Crochet and More

Hello there!

I wanted to write a post about some simple Fall color pairings that you can apply to your crochet projects or daily wear items. I love the rich tones that you find in the Fall. It is my favorite time of year for the weather and the color choices. Let's get into it.

  • Deep oranges and reds

These are classic fall colors since many tree leaves turn from green to orange and red. The colors are warm and rich and perfect for combating the cooler weather.

  • Golden yellow and brown

This is another classic Fall color pairing. Here in Colorado we have Aspen trees. The leaves turn an amazing bright golden yellow. They are stunning to see in person and a great color to crochet with and the brown helps to ground the color. The yellow is another perfect color to combat the colder days and give that sense of warm.

  • Plum and caramel

Though you may not associate purple with Fall exactly I think a nice jewel tone purple is great. It gives and air of sophistication and still some warmth mixed with a cooler tone. Then the warm caramel color is striking and a great way to stand out in the drabber days.

I hope you found this useful. Happy hooking!
